(Dublin, Ohio) – The City of Dublin will celebrate Independence Day on Saturday, July 3. At this time, the City is seeking nominations for the Grand Marshal to preside over the parade and evening celebrations.
The Grand Marshal honor is bestowed annually upon an individual or couple who have made a significant contribution to the City of Dublin through volunteer/professional efforts and who demonstrate patriotism through the development of community and/or community values. Candidates may not be a current elected official, running for office and or been recognized by the City in the past five years.
Nomination form and information is available at dublinohiousa.gov/events. The deadline to submit a nomination is Friday, May 14, 2021 at 5 p.m.
The City plans to host a fireworks display and two physically distanced concerts in Coffman Park and at Coffman High School grounds. Neighborhood bike brigades and fishing derbies will all be part of the festivities. Schedule and ticket sale information will be announced at a later date.
