The City of Dublin will celebrate Independence Day on Monday, July 4. At this time, the City is seeking nominations for the Grand Marshal to preside over the parade and evening celebration.
The Grand Marshal honor is bestowed annually upon an individual or couple who have made a significant contribution to the City of Dublin through volunteer and/or professional efforts and who demonstrate patriotism through the development of community and/or community values. Candidates may not be current elected officials running for office and or have been recognized by the City in the past five years.
Nomination information and nomination forms are available at DublinOhioUSA.gov. The nomination deadline is 5 p.m. Friday, April 29.
The City of Dublin event plans include a full day of community entertainment with the Sherm Sheldon Fishing Derby, Independence Day parade, fireworks display and evening concert. Complete schedule of activities and ticket sale information coming soon.
