The Emerald Fields playground and recreation path will close periodically Monday, July 13 through Wednesday, July 15. These temporary closures are to provide a safe experience for visitors while the Parks Operations staff conducts maintenance on the irrigation well.
Visitors may be asked to leave these designated areas at times throughout the day while the work is completed. There will be message boards in place at the entrances to the path and at access points around the playground. The park land around the path and playground will remain open.
This 33.8 community park located at 4040 Wyandotte Woods Blvd. includes ball diamonds, recreation paths, accessible playgrounds, sports fields, restrooms, shelters and public art.
Any updates to the scheduled maintenance will be communicated through the City’s website and Nextdoor page.
