The annual Flying Feather Four Miler running and walking event will take place on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 24, 2022, at 8:30 a.m. The event will start and finish at The Club at Corazón, 7155 Corazon Dr. Dublin Police and the Union County Sheriff’s Office will be on site for traffic control. We anticipate having all roads opened back up by 10:45 a.m.
8:30 a.m. | Kids Gobbler Chase, a short quarter mile run for children ages 10 and under
9 a.m. | Flying Feather Four Miler
This event benefits the 2nd & 7 Foundation, a non-profit organization based in Columbus whose mission is to promote reading by providing free books and positive role models to kids in need while encouraging young athletes of the community to pay it forward.
Course:
- Starts from The Club at Corazón
- Runs east on Corazon Drive to Manley Road
- North on Manley Road to McKitrick Road
- West on McKitrick Road to Hyland-Croy Road
- North on Hyland-Croy Road to Glacier Ridge Metro Park
- Exit Glacier Ridge Metro Park at intersection of Hyland-Croy and McKitrick roads
- South on Hyland-Croy Road to Corazon Drive
- East on Corazon Drive
- Finish at The Club at Corazón
Affected Roads:
- Corazon Drive will be closed from Hyland-Croy Road to Manley Road.
- Hyland-Croy Road will be closed from Brock Road to Mitchell-Dewitt Road.
- McKitrick Road will be closed from Mitchell-Dewitt Road to Jerome Road.
- Jerome Road will be closed from Ross Avenue to Glick Road.
- Traffic on Hyland-Croy Road, south of Mitchell-Dewitt Road to Post Road will be heavy from 7:30 to 9 a.m.
- Traffic will be detoured around this area and these roads will be essentially closed from 7:30 a.m. through 10:45 a.m., except to local residents
