The Special Projects function is responsible for implementing the adopted 2007 Dublin Community Plan and other long range plans and programs that guide the growth and development of Dublin. Special Projects, in coordination with other City departments, focuses on the long range “big picture” of how the city will develop in the future.
Special Projects uses the City’s tools, policies, and plans to describe and support the Community Plan’s land use vision and ensure consistency with the City’s goals and decision-making processes. Special Projects also provides area planning services for specific sites within the city, such as roadway corridor plans, zoning code updates, and other related projects intended to implement the Community Plan.
