Delaware County Emergency Management participated in a storm damage survey with the National Weather Service. The preliminary results of that survey indicate weak tornadic activity in northern Delaware County, but also a fair amount of damage from straight-line winds.

- Sirens are designed to alert individuals who are outdoors to seek shelter and information from a trusted source
- Know how to receive alerts through other means, as well:
- Have a pre-established shelter location; when a tornado warning is issued for your area, go to your designated shelter immediately
