Pickleball is a paddle sport played with a wiffle ball on a badminton-sized court and a tennis-style net. A non-volley zone (or kitchen) prevents volleys close to the net and the serving team cannot volley the return of serve. It is a fun sport that combines many elements of tennis, badminton and ping-pong. Open play times are held indoors at the Dublin Community Recreation Center. We supply the nets, paddles, and balls. Just show up to play! We have 3-6 courts available for open play during the week. Look for pickleball times on the weekly gym schedule. Players must be DCRC members or must purchase a daily pass from the front desk.
The City of Dublin offers a recreational Adult Tennis league between Memorial Day and early-August.
