St. Patrick’s Day in Dublin: Kiss Me, I’m Calling a Safe Ride

(Dublin, Ohio) — As St. Patrick’s Day celebrations kick off across Central Ohio, the City of Dublin is reminding residents that the luck of the Irish should never be relied on to get home safely.

This year’s campaign, “Kiss Me, I’m Calling a Safe Ride,” runs from Friday, March 13, through Thursday, March 19, covering the Dublin St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Downtown Dublin Pub Crawl on Saturday, as well as the holiday itself. Residents and visitors are encouraged to plan ahead, celebrate responsibly and choose a Safe Ride home (with a discount)!

As part of this regional safety effort, Dublin will join partner agencies for a press conference Friday, March 13 at 10:30 a.m. at Fadó Pub & Kitchen: 6652 Riverside Dr, Dublin, OH 43017.

Participating agencies include:

  • Dublin Police Department
  • Franklin County Sheriff’s Office
  • Central Ohio Safe Ride

  • Franklin County DUI Task Force
To bolster this effort, the City of Dublin is once again providing discounted Lyft rides. The code gives you a $10 off, valid for one use.
