(Dublin, Ohio) – While the curtains close on 2025, the Abbey Theater of Dublin is thrilled to announce its 2026 season.
The diverse lineup includes world and regional premieres, collaborations with Dublin City Schools and proud partnerships with Original Productions Theater. The Abbey opens its doors to a variety of ages including Theater for Young Audiences (TYA) acted by kids, the pre-professional program with all high-school aged productions and “Only in Dublin” productions that put the Abbey in the spotlight with its world premieres.

- 9-18: ‘A Comedy of Errors’
- 6-15: ‘SIX: The Musical: Teen Edition’
- March 6-8: ‘Olympus: The Greek Rock Musical!’
- March 20-22: ‘The SpongeBob Musical: Theater for Young Audiences Edition’
- April 9-19: ‘The Pub’s Got No Beer’
- May 29-31 & June 5-7: ‘1776’
- July 10-12: ‘35mm: A Musical Exhibition’
- July 16-19: ‘Newsies JR’
- 7-16: ‘The Lightning Thief’
- 25-27 & Oct. 1-4: ‘The Velocity of Autumn’
- 19-22: ‘Finding Nemo JR’ & ‘Finding Nemo KIDS’
“This season presents a diverse range of opportunities for the entire community. Our aspiration is to engage residents of all ages within Dublin as well as across the greater Columbus region,” said Abbey Theater Director Joe Bishara.
After an incredible 2025 season, the Abbey Theater, along with some of its crew and actors, received 23 nominations for BroadwayWorld Columbus Awards and hopes to be voted ‘Favorite Local Theatre’ for the fourth year in a row.
