The City of Dublin will host its 2026 Mental Health Town Hall, “From Conversation to Commitment,” on Thursday, May 7, from 6:30–8:30 p.m. at the Dublin Community Recreation Center.
“This event is about moving beyond awareness,” says Deputy Chief Nick Tabernik. “It’s about creating space for honest conversations and equipping our community members with the tools and resources to support themselves and one another.”
The evening will feature presentations from community partners, including Syntero and the Dublin Wellness Alliance, highlighting available services, partnerships and new initiatives supporting youth and adult mental health.
Attendees will also learn about the City’s Safe Space Program and hear how Dublin Police officers who are members of the Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) receive advanced training to better respond to individuals experiencing mental health challenges. A keynote Impact Speaker (name to be announced later) will close the program, reinforcing the importance of continued dialogue and collective responsibility in strengthening community wellness.
