For the 22nd Consecutive Year, City of Dublin Earns Financial Reporting Award

(Dublin, Ohio) –– The City of Dublin has received Government Finance Officers Association’s (GFOA) Distinguished Budget Presentation Award for their 2025 Budget Book. This is the 22nd time the City has received this honor. The award reflects the commitment of the City and its staff to meeting the highest principles of governmental budgeting.

The 2025 Budget Book met nationally recognized guidelines regarding how it serves as a policy document, a financial plan, an operations guide and a communications device. In order to receive this award, the City was rated “proficient” in all four categories.

This award signifies that the City of Dublin is leading the way and “provides an excellent example for other governments throughout North America,” writes the GFOA.

“I appreciate the Finance team’s hard work ensuring our budget is easy to understand and transparent for our residents, as well as the partnership from other divisions to create and review this document,” says City of Dublin Director of Finance Operations Jaime Hoffman.

The City has received global recognition for exemplary fiscal health and financial transparency. Additionally, the city is the first and only city in the United States to earn four AAA ratings from S&P, Moody’s KBRA and Fitch.
