WHY: The 37th Dublin Irish Festival will take place Aug. 2-4. The largest three-day Irish festival on the planet will pack Coffman Park with Irish music, dance, history, food and more.
STORY IDEAS: The Dublin Irish Festival App– Everything you need to be festival-ready, right at your fingertips! In 2023, 7,678 attendees took advantage of the app to stay connected. Receive reminders on your favorite acts, notifications on pop-up shows and other DIF updates.
NEW Virtual Tours of Ireland– Festival goers can now explore Ireland in a fully immersive virtual reality experience. In the tent located near the east entrance, guests can take in the sights and sounds of the Cliffs of Moher.
FREE Irish Play at the Abbey Theater– Dublin Irish Festival attendees can see a play written by an Irish playwright and set in an Irish town for free. “Moby Dick’s Gone Missing” is on the Abbey Theater stage, located in the Dublin Community Recreation Center (DCRC), Friday through Sunday of the Festival. Registration is required to secure a seat in the theater.
Save Money and Buy Tickets Online– While there is an option to purchase tickets at the entry gates, guests can save $5 on their ticket when they buy online.
PARKING & TRANSPORTATION: Attached is a parking map. Media can park at the Dublin Community Recreation Center (number 2 on the map). When arriving at the DCRC, please let parking security know you have a parking pass in Festival Operations. Festival Operations is located inside the Recreation Center, classroom A. Stop in, and you will receive a parking pass and credentials for your visit.
The City partners with Safe Ride of Central Ohio to offer discounted Lyft rides for patrons. Use Lyft code DUBLINIRISH24 for up to $10 off your ride to or from the Irish Festival. Valid Aug. 1-5, including the 5K & Kids Dash and for patrons to return to vehicles the day following the Festival.
Safety & Security: Event security is top priority for the Dublin Police Department, which collaborates with local partners to ensure an enjoyable environment for all.
