Crews will repaint dozens of light poles and bridge rails along several roads and at intersections from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 20-21 and 27-28.
Some lane closures will occur during this work.
Light poles will be painted:
- Saturday, Sept. 20:
- Bridge Park area: The intersection of West Dublin-Granville Road/U.S. 16 and Dale Drive
- Saturday, Sept. 21:
- The intersection of Avery-Muirfield Drive/Dublin Methodist Lane
- The intersection of Avery-Muirfield Drive and the U.S. 33 east ramp
- Saturday, Sept. 27:
- The intersection of Avery-Muirfield Drive/Perimeter Drive
- Sunday, Sept. 28:
- The intersection of Avery-Muirfield Drive and Hospital Drive/Perimeter Loop Road
The paint acts as a protective layer, preventing rot and other damage, which helps extend the lifespan of the poles. This maintenance can prevent costly replacements in the future. Additionally, well-maintained light poles contribute to the overall aesthetic appeal for both residents and visitors.
