Mosquito Spraying Scheduled for Monday, July 15

(Dublin, Ohio) — Franklin County Public Health (FCPH) will spray for mosquitoes Monday, July 15, in the south zone of Dublin, between Brand Road and the Tuttle Crossing Boulevard area to the south. Please see the included map for reference.

Mosquitoes in this zone tested positive for West Nile Virus (WNV). FCPH regularly traps and tests mosquitoes throughout the City. It is part of an Integrated Mosquito Control and Management Program aimed at disease prevention.

The spray is scheduled to start at 9 p.m. (weather permitting). The Darree Fields area will be sprayed after 10:30 p.m.

Spraying is typically only performed when WNV or extremely high levels of mosquitoes are found in a particular area. Visit our mosquito management web page for more information on our Mosquito Management program, how you can help reduce mosquitoes and to sign up for FCPH’s Do Not Spray list.

West Nile Virus Symptoms:

*Eighty percent of people bitten by an infected mosquito will not show any symptoms at all.

West Nile Virus Prevention:
