Looking for a new job or summer position? Grab your computer to learn more about what the City of Dublin is offering! This February, the City will host its annual job fair virtually to make sure people can safely learn about upcoming employment opportunities in Dublin.
Select an information session from the different divisions and work units within the City that are hiring. Learn about what positions are available as well as the requirements and expectations for the job.

9 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 6 (5 sessions)
1 to 5 p.m. Monday, Feb. 8 (7 sessions)
Where
Participants will receive a Webex link to join the job fair via video conference. Links will be emailed to participants after they register.
How
Job info sessions will be 30 minutes for participants to learn more about available positions and ask questions.

Camps
The City of Dublin offers a variety of camp positions within its Preschool, Youth and Teen Camp programs. Visit the camps web page at for more detailed information about these programs.
- Camp Counselor
- Qualifications: Age 18 years or older; High School Diploma, GED. or equivalent certificate
- Pay Range: $10.00 – $12.50 /hour
Aquatics
Join the City of Dublin’s Aquatics team in a range of positions and contribute to community safety this summer! The City of Dublin operates one indoor and two outdoor aquatic facilities. Please visit the aquatics web page for more information.
- Lifeguard
- Qualifications: Current American Red Cross Lifeguarding, First Aid, CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification. Must pass City of Dublin pre-employment skills test which includes a variety of basic lifeguarding skills and swimming endurance tests.
- Pay Range: $10.00 – $22.00 /hour
- Swim Lesson Instructor
- Qualifications: Current American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor certification and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification
- Pay Range: $11.00 – $22.00 /hour
- Water Fitness Instructor
- Qualifications: Current Aquatic Exercise Association or Arthritis Foundation certification and American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification
- Pay Range: $16.00 – $28.00 /hour
- Guest Service Worker
- Qualifications: Age 14 years or older
- Pay Range: $9.00 – $12.50 /hour
- Concession Stand Worker
- Qualifications: Age 15 years or older
- Pay Range: $9.00 – $12.50 /hour
- Assistant Concession Manager
- Qualifications: Age 18 years or older
- Pay Range: $10.50 – $14.50 /hour
- Front Desk Worker
- Qualifications: Age 18 years or older
- Pay Range: $10.50 – $14.50 /hour
Seasonal Maintenance
Do you enjoy tasks that are hands-on, tactile or physical? How about working outdoors in parks and natural areas? The City of Dublin offers seasonal maintenance job opportunities in many of its service-oriented departments. Sign up for an info session to learn about the teams who contribute to the daily operation of Dublin’s greatest offerings — green parks, clean community space and safe streets, just to name a few.
- Starting wages for new hires begin at $12.58 /hour
- Starting wages for new hires with a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) for a CDL-required position begins at $15.85 /hour
- Returning employees will progress to the next step in the City’s wage structure with each year of consecutive service
Streets and Utilities
The Streets and Utilities division operate various types of motorized equipment to keep the City’s roads clean and safe.
Specific duties may include:
- Repairing roads, manholes and sewer lines
- Providing traffic control during street repairs
- Collecting yard and leaf waste
Horticulture
The City’s Horticulture team plants, prunes, waters, weeds and does everything in between in order to maintain landscapes in Dublin’s parks and public grounds.
Specific duties may include:
- Hand weeding and chemical spraying
- Operating hand tools and power equipment
- Operating vehicles associated with landscape planting and maintenance
Facilities Management
Facilities management employs a variety of tactics to ensure the appearance and functionality of the City’s buildings as well as efficient utilization of energy resources.
Specific duties may include:
- Cleaning park restrooms/shelter houses and performing basic custodial duties in City facilities
- Setting up and tearing down tables and chairs
- Supporting maintenance assignments and snow removal operations as needed
Forestry
Dublin’s Forestry team plants and maintains all street trees within the City as well as manages a variety of other tree and landscape responsibilities.
Specific duties may include:
- Pruning, planting, removing, stump grinding, watering and fertilizing, pesticide application
- Operating light to heavy equipment (trucks, backhoe, bobcat, chainsaw, leaf blower, chipper, water tank and pump, fertilizer applicator)
- Operating a variety of hand tools
Park Operations
Park Operations works diligently to maintain all of Dublin’s more than 60 parks, its green spaces, athletic courts and walkways.
Specific duties may include:
- Trash removal, cutting grass, trimming shrubs, irrigation, seeding fields and equipment maintenance
