The Dublin Outdoor Community Pools North (5660 Dublinshire Drive) and South (6363 Woerner Temple Road) are open for the summer season.
After a year of being closed for renovation, the Dublin Community Pool North opened Saturday, May 29. In 2019, the Dublin community provided public input about the design of the North Pool, which City staff took into consideration when planning the pool. The new pool offers exciting amenities including a dive pool featuring two platform dives, a rock wall, and designated lap lanes, as well as a leisure pool, two water slides and a tot pool.
“We are excited to welcome the Dublin community to the South Pool and the newly renovated North Pool,” said Director of Parks & Recreation Matt Earman. “Summer wouldn’t be complete in Dublin without a trip to the pool.”
Season passes are still available for Dublin residents and Dublin School District residents to purchase at the Dublin Community Recreation Center. Pricing varies based on residency, age and the number of people the pass covers.
Following Governor Mike DeWine’s May 12 announcement that most public health orders would be lifted June 2, the City’s pool operations have returned to normal to ensure a smooth transition into the summer season.
Operations standards that were in place in 2020 will not be in effect this season. Some changes include eliminating swimming time blocks, opening special features such as water slides, offering Guest of Resident daily passes for purchase as well as Annual pool passes for residents/school-district residents without limiting the number available.
