(Dublin, Ohio) — The City of Dublin takes home another SparkColumbus award for being the top large company to “run” toward employee wellness.
Tracking 30,056 minutes of fitness activity, Dublin placed first in the SparkColumbus 2021 Fall Fit City Challenge that aimed at getting people to incorporate more movement into their daily routines. As the top corporate finisher in the large company category, the City of Dublin has been recognized in a commercial airing on ABC6/FOX28.
Three Dublin employees also earned a pair of free Vionic running shoes for tracking their active minutes that total in the thousands:
- Barbara Conaway, Communications Technician — 2,692 active minutes
- Chris Peterson, Corporate Tax Auditor — 2,375 minutes
- Carina Dacierno, Administrative Support III — 1,725 minutes
Columbus, Ohio, represented under the SparkColumbus name, placed fourth overall in the fall competition against other SparkAmerica cities. Ohio’s capital cleared 516,155 total active minutes.
Earlier this year, the City of Dublin also placed first in its category for the Spring Fit City Challenge.
