The City of Dublin, Ohio is excited to launch Link Ahead, the new podcast that connects conversations among the City’s workforce, residents, business community and beyond.
Link Ahead is hosted by Dublin’s Director of Communications & Public Information, Lindsay Weisenauer, and Bruce Edwards, Dublin’s Digital & Brand Manager. Join them as they introduce you to City employees and the inner workings of Dublin government.
“One of the City’s goals is to increase meaningful engagement with those who live, work and visit here,” Weisenauer says. “We strive to reach people on the platforms they prefer, and more and more people are turning to podcasts to get information and feel connected to their communities. Whether you’re listening at work or in the car, you’re bound to learn something new about Dublin and the people working hard to support the best small city in Ohio.”
The name of the podcast, “Link Ahead,” is a nod to Dublin’s many community connections, the City’s forward-thinking culture, its Dublink fiber optic network and, of course, the Dublin Link pedestrian bridge. Guests will include City staff, community members, businesses and thought leaders who will explore the many experiences that make Dublin a thriving place to live, work and grow.
In the first episode, Lindsay and Bruce chat with guest, Robert Ranc, the City’s Deputy City Manager/Chief Operating Officer who is in charge of everything from curb-to-curb snow removal to Dublin’s world-class events to the City’s popular pickelball courts. Find out what brought him to Dublin from the Lonestar State in 2021, what keeps him up at night and how he’s making Dublin even greener.
