Dublin City Council is proud to announce the construction of Dublin’s new Council Chamber has reached completion! The design and construction process started in May of 2019 and continued through the peak of the pandemic. The new building, located at 5555 Perimeter Dr., will serve as a central point for all of Dublin’s City buildings and park amenities.
Council commemorated this occasion with a City Hall and Council Chamber ribbon cutting ceremony and open house on Monday, July 26. Following the open house, the first City Council meeting took place in the new Council Chamber building.
The new Council Chamber addition to City Hall will serve as Dublin’s civic center and a place Dubliners can gather for community events. The Council Chamber consolidates City operations by connecting City Council, the Clerk of Council, the Legislative Affairs division and City Hall employees, including the Office of the City Manager, into one building. It will also serve as a public meeting area and a place to display and memorialize public artworks. Read more about the new Council Chamber.
