In A Park, On A Leash – Remember to grab the leash before heading out for a walk. City ordinance states that dogs must be on a leash in all parks except Nando’s. Keep your dog and others safe by using a leash.
PUP (Pick Up Poop) – Picking up after your dog is not only being a good neighbor, it’s the law in Dublin. It’s also good for the environment—dog poop left on the ground can make its way into our sewer systems during rain events, polluting freshwater supplies.
Nando’s Dog Park – Dublin dogs have a park all to themselves in Darree Fields. Named after the City’s first Police Canine Unit, Nando’s Dog Park has small and large play areas for dogs to run, play and roam off-leash. Be sure to read the park rules before heading.
Pooch Pond – Every year the Dublin Community Recreation Center hosts a pool party just for dogs at Community Pool South. Small dogs under 50 pounds can swim from 5:30-6:30 p.m.; dogs over 50 pounds can swim from 6:45-7:45 p.m.
Glacier Ridge Metro Park – located just west of Dublin, Glacier Ridge Metro Park has two paved trails for dogs to walk on-leash, and a 2.5 acre fenced-in dog park featuring an open field, drinking fountains, paved path and a wooded area for dogs to explore.
