The City of Dublin is sponsoring a creek walk on Saturday, May 13, 2017 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Coffman West Shelter. Whether you live along a stream or nearby one, you have an important role in keeping our streams clean. Please join Franklin Soil and Water Conservation District staff to take a walk along South Fork Indian Run and talk about our local streams.
You will learn how streams function and how you can help protect and keep them healthy for our children, as well as for the birds, fish and other wildlife. Please dress for the weather, wear long pants and be prepared to walk along the stream on unimproved trails. Hiking boots or closed-toe shoes are required. The walk will be no more than .5 miles. Registration is not required. Just show up and join us at the Coffman West Shelter located at 5200 Emerald Parkway.
