A new nonprofit in Dublin is filling needs in the community through an innovative model. Dublin Bridges aims to bridge needs to the residents, families, businesses and service organizations who are willing to provide help. Rather than those in need self-referring, advocates make the request on their behalf, anonymously.
Needs could include food, tutoring or reading assistance, school supplies, funding for activity fees, volunteering, or clothing. Advocates could include Dublin City Schools, Dublin Food Pantry, Syntero, One Dublin, Washington Township Fire Department, Dublin Police, or individual members of the community willing to vouch for those in need.
Anyone can sign up to receive notifications of needs and step up to provide help.
