The City of Dublin is making improvements to the playground at Wyndham Park (7475 Tullymore Drive). The City is asking residents to weigh in on the design prior to construction.
The proposed design includes:
- 3-5 age group section:
- Rock climber
- Two slides
- Slatted roof (clubhouse style)
- Spiral step climber
- Fun seat
- 5-12 age group section:
- Tall tower
- Spiral slide
- Connected climbing nets
- Various climbers to access platform clubhouse towerTwo regular swings
- Two Expression Swings (parent and child swinging face-to-face)
- Rubber safety surfacing
- Multiple Benches around play area
Please note the tall play structure shows a wooden roofing with overlapping boards, which may or may not be included based on aesthetic preference. Once the design is acceptable to the community, order and install is expected to last at least 10 weeks, weather permitting. The second half of construction will be the safety surfacing, which needs to be installed once the ground temperature gets above 50-60 degrees. Total completion is expected Spring of 2020 (April or May), assuming that weather cooperates with the construction.
