The Corners is a mixed-use development project with public park space to be developed through a public-private partnership between the City of Dublin and the Daimler Group on City-owned land. The project is located on a 13-acre site on the west side of Frantz Road, north of Rings Road and south of Blazer Parkway. At build-out, the project will include up to 70,000 square feet of restaurant, service-oriented retail, neighborhood-scale office and public park space to serve as a needed amenity for nearby companies and neighborhoods. This project implements portions of the Dublin Corporate Area Special Area Plan in the Dublin Community Plan.
Construction on Phase 1 is beginning summer 2021.
Development Background:
The project was introduced at a public meeting in November 2018. Since then, the developer team worked with staff to prepare a concept that implements the recommendations of the Dublin Corporate Area Plan and incorporates stakeholder feedback.
The City and the Daimler Group began the public zoning review process in summer 2019. The Planning and Zoning Commission (PZC) reviewed the project informally on June 20, 2019, and reviewed and made a recommendation to Dublin City Council on the Rezoning/Preliminary Development Plan/Preliminary Plat on September 19, 2019. The Rezoning was approved by City Council on December 2, 2019. The Planning and Zoning Commission approved the Final Development Plan for Phase 1 of this project on July 9, 2020.
