Storm sewer maintenance work on the Park Mill Retention Basin (pond) is scheduled to begin Monday, September, 30, 2019. This work will require crews to lower the water level six to seven feet so they can access the storm sewer structures. Approximately five feet of water will be left in the basin, which is enough to sustain the fish population. The pipes and other storm sewer structures will be inspected, cleaned and repaired if needed. Once the work is completed, the basin will refill naturally with rainwater. The expected completion date is October 11, 2019. The work is weather dependent and the schedule is subject to change.
