Improving and preserving the infrastructure of our neighborhoods is an investment in our City that adds value and high-quality City services for our residents. The first phases of some Dublin neighborhoods were built more than 40 years ago. While these neighborhoods have maintained their beauty and real estate desirability, the infrastructure (sanitary sewer pipes, water lines and underground utilities) may be in need of repair and/or replacement as it continues to age.
This waterline replacement project will upgrade existing smaller 2-inch and 3-inch diameter waterlines with larger diameter waterlines on the following streets:
- Gairloch Court
- Hawick Court North
- Hawick Court South
- Gavington Court
- Whittingham Drive
- Loch More Court East
In addition to the waterline replacements, the project will also provide roadway resurfacing within the project limits. This Waterline Replacement Project design is currently being finalized with construction plans nearly complete, and construction is presently planned for this summer.
You are invited to attend a virtual public information meeting where you will be able to view the layout for this water line replacement project, ask questions and offer your feedback to City Engineering staff. The date for the meeting is Wednesday, May 11, 2022. The meeting will take place between 6 and 7 p.m.
At the virtual public meeting, Dublin Engineering staff will present the overall project and share with you the project design details and potential construction impacts.
**The public meeting has ended for the evening. A recording of the presentation will be made available in the coming days.
