As a retired police officer of the Dublin Police Department, we would like to extend an invitation for you to renew your official “retired officer” identification card and qualify with your sidearm on our range.
With the State and Federal laws allowing officers to carry concealed weapons, we are providing an opportunity for officers who retired from the Police Department and remain in good standing, to qualify on our range. This will fulfill the requirements under the law to allow for concealed carry. If you have an interest, we would be pleased to provide several items for you to review regarding the Law Enforcement Officer Safety Act, Ohio’s Concealed Carry Law, and the Ohio Revised Code.
If you are interested in participating in this program, please contact Sergeant Tim Hosterman or Officer Jake Stoll. We will be designating dates & times in the coming months for you to participate in qualifications. If you need alternative arrangements, contact Sgt. Hosterman.
