Dublin City Council approved an incentives package for RenaissanceTech, a rapidly-growing tech company that specializes in helping manufacturers streamline their sales processes.
Founded in 2013, RenaissanceTech began operations in the Dublin Entrepreneurial Center (DEC), later moving to Historic Dublin and currently operating from 5880 Venture Drive in Dublin, which the company is outgrowing.
“RenaissanceTech is an incredible success story to come out of the DEC, Dublin’s business incubator – designed to support the creation and development of new technologies, businesses and jobs in the Dublin community,” says Sara O’Malley, Dublin Economic Development Administrator.
“Finding a new location that supports their future growth is vital, and we are proud that they are continuing to invest in the people and places that make Dublin unique.” O’Malley says.
Economic Development staff has been in discussions with RenaissanceTech about purchasing a new office location in Dublin and other Central Ohio communities.
RenaissanceTech is an IT company that specializes in helping manufacturers simplify their sales cycle by providing a guided multi-tier quoting and ordering technology tool for easy selection and configurations of materials.
The Economic Development Agreement approved on November 18, 2019, is a one-time retention grant of $10,000. The incentive is contingent upon the company purchasing a building of at least 8,000 square feet within City of Dublin corporation limits by January 1, 2020.
The project will result in the retention of 16 existing jobs and the addition of nine more by December 31, 2021.
