(DUBLIN, Ohio) – On October 14, 2019, the Dublin Police Community Impact Unit, with assistance of Columbus Police Department In/Tac, executed a narcotics search warrant on an apartment on Donnylane Blvd.
The investigation began from an anonymous tip detailing suspicious drug related activity in the area. Investigators from Dublin Police seized black tar heroin, methamphetamine, cocaine and prescription pills from the scene.
“Because of this anonymous tip by a concerned citizen, we were able to arrest a drug trafficker supplying narcotics in the Dublin and Northwest Columbus area,” said Dublin Police Chief Justin Páez. “This is a great reminder that if you see anything suspicious, say something and call police. This shows great community partnership in helping to address drug offenses that contribute to crime in our city.”
The resident, Daniel Grove, was arrested for trafficking in drugs (2nd degree felony) and drug possession (2nd degree felony).
