Classes we offer:
American Red Cross Lifeguard Training
Learn the skills needed to become a certified American Red Cross Lifeguard. CPR for Professional Rescuer, AED, First-Aid, and Administering Emergency Oxygen certifications are included. This class is taught as a blended learning course, which means that the participant completes part of the course prior to attending the first day of in-person classes. This course follows the strict guidelines of the American Red Cross. Participation in this class does not guarantee certification.
Upon successful completion participants have the opportunity to enter into the hiring process with the City of Dublin. Learn more here.
American Red Cross Lifeguard Review Training
To be eligible to participate in the Lifeguard Review Course, each participant must hold a current American Red Cross Lifeguarding Certification.
This class is taught as a blended learning course, which means that the participant completes part of the course prior to attending the first day of in-person classes. This course follows the strict guidelines of the American Red Cross. Participation in this class does not guarantee certification.
CPR/AED and First Aid
The purpose of the American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and Health Care Providers course is to teach those with a duty to act (professional rescuers and health care providers) the knowledge and skills needed to respond appropriately to breathing and cardiac emergencies. This includes the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED) to care for a victim experiencing cardiac arrest. This course also teaches skills participants need to know to give immediate care to a suddenly injured or ill person until more advanced medical personnel arrive and take over. This class is taught as a blended learning course, which means that the participant completes part of the course prior to attending the first day of class. This course follows the strict guidelines of the American Red Cross. Participation in this class does not guarantee certifications.

Water Safety Instructor
This course will train participants to teach courses in the American Red Cross Swimming and Water Safety program by developing their understanding of how to conduct training session and how to evaluate swimmer’s progress.
